Xmost M12 Y-shape male-to-two-female splitter provides a three-way connection for compatible industrial equipment wiring. Its MFF arrangement combines one male connector with two side-by-side female connectors in a compact molded housing.
The catalog wiring diagrams show corresponding numbered contacts connected in parallel across the three interfaces. Both female ports therefore share the circuits connected to the male port.
Each interface uses M12 × 1.0 screw locking. The housing includes a mounting hole for securing the adapter to equipment. A- and B-coded versions are unshielded, while the D-coded version is shielded.

Applications
Suggested applications for this M12 Y-shape MFF splitter include:
- Machine wiring distribution: Connections where one interface shares corresponding circuits with two branches.
- Compatible field-device wiring: Connections using the selected coding and pin arrangement.
- Modular automation equipment: Detachable connections between compatible equipment sections.
- Side-by-side cable connections: Installations requiring two adjacent female M12 interfaces.
- Secured equipment installations: Junctions where the mounting hole can hold the splitter in position.
Use the splitter where the equipment supports the illustrated parallel wiring. Check the combined load carried by shared contacts. For communication circuits, confirm that the network permits the branch topology.
Wiring Diagram
The catalog diagrams show each numbered male contact connected to the same numbered contact at both female interfaces.
For example:
- Male Pin 1 connects to Pin 1 at both female ports.
- Male Pin 2 connects to Pin 2 at both female ports, where fitted.
- The same numbered connection continues through the remaining fitted contacts.
The 3-pin wiring diagram identifies contacts 1, 3 and 4. Follow these numbers rather than assuming a consecutive 1–3 arrangement.
The two female ports share corresponding circuits; they are not independently switched channels. Use the wiring diagram matching the selected 3-, 4-, 5- or 8-pin version.
